To all peers coming to WAC 2006:

I am pleased to announce a special social event on the night of Wednesday July 26, 2006 for the celebration of the 90th   birthday of Professor Faz Reza. He is a pioneer in information theory, electric circuits and an authority on Persian Poetry, specially with respect to the life and works of Persian Epic Poet A. Ferdowsi. Ferdowsi’s masterpiece work was called “Book of Kings” (or “Shahnameh,” in Persian).
